Protection AutoExplained SMS Program

The Protection AutoExplained SMS Program has two separate preferences. Account notifications are one-to-one messages about your own subscription request, preference changes, and support replies. Marketing messages cover new vehicle damage terminology guides, scenario write-ups, documentation checklists, and site announcements. Topics covered include collision terminology, comprehensive terminology, weather damage, theft, vandalism, animal strikes, and damage documentation.

The program is informational only. It does not provide quotes, applications, eligibility screening, agent outreach, provider matching, referrals, sales calls, or appointments.

• Account Notifications. One-to-one text messages tied to your own subscription, such as guide delivery, content access updates, opt-in and opt-out confirmations, and replies to HELP requests.
• Marketing. Recurring marketing text messages with promotional offers, announcements, featured website resources, special campaigns, and updates about newly available guides and tools.

Each preference is consented to separately, each has its own unchecked checkbox, and neither one is required.

You join by checking the consent box for a preference on the subscribe page and submitting a valid mobile number. Boxes are unchecked by default. A phone number alone is not consent, and accepting the Terms of Use is not SMS consent. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase, access, or use of this website.

• Account Notifications: Message frequency varies based on account activity.
• Marketing: Message frequency varies, generally up to 4 messages per month.

Msg & data rates may apply. Rates are set by your mobile carrier, not by us.

Reply STOP to any message to end that Protection AutoExplained SMS program. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages for that program unless you opt in again.

You must be 18 or older, a resident of the United States, and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you submit. Delivery is subject to carrier availability and is not guaranteed.

Information collected through the SMS program is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Mobile opt-in data, SMS consent, and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will not be sold, shared, rented, released, or transferred to third parties for marketing, lead generation, or promotional purposes.

We may update these terms. Material changes to message categories or frequency will be reflected here before they take effect.
